To assist our Slate clients with their data exports and automation, we have created a query template that can be used to send data to Enrollment Lens/Insights Cloud in the Encoura Standard Layout. Please note: This requires knowledge of Slate Configurable Joins and your institution’s specific data practices. 

Complete the following steps to access the template:

1.  Go to your Slate database and click on “Suitcase Import” under Import and Data Processing.

2.  Enter the following Suitcase ID in the pop-up window and click Import:

3.  Leave all items selected by default and click Import. 

4.  This will then bring you to the new query in your instance. Note: You may not have all the fields in your instance, or they may be named differently, resulting in warnings on the initial screen. 

5.  Click Edit Query to update the template with your institution’s corresponding fields and logic. If there is a field that you do not collect, change it to a Literal Export and leave the value blank. Do not rename the headers. 

6.  Update the filters to ensure that you are pulling the correct population(s). 

7.  Test the query to confirm that the results are as expected.  

8.  Once you have confirmed that the query returns accurate results, click Schedule Export. 

9.  Update the export parameters with your institution’s connection details and notification preferences. 

Example: 

10.  Update the schedule to your delivery day/time. 

11.  Once everything is confirmed and finalized, change the export status to Active. 

12.  Work with your consultant to submit a test file to verify that the connection is set up properly and produces the expected results.
