Encoura seeks to meet the industry standards outlined in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 AA. The Encoura Accessibility Conformance Report outlines the details regarding meeting those standards. This document is based on the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT®) Version 2.4Rev. The findings in this report are based on a third-party audit using a combination of manual and automated tests using assistive technology for desktop and mobile access.

NOTE: Encoura is in the process of migrating all functionality from the legacy platform to the new myEncoura platform. Details of accessibility standards for each are included in the Encoura Accessibility Conformance Report. Accessibility issues are addressed in every development cycle according to priorities identified in our most recent accessibility audit. Ongoing work to meet accessibility standards is being addressed with each application migrated to the new platform which is expected to continue through 2026.  

The Encoura Accessibility Conformance Report is the result of third-party accessibility testing using a combination of manual and automated tests utilizing assistive technology for desktop and mobile access. This report displays compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The audit used a combination of manual and automated tests. The following applications were used as part of the audit to identify and report potential accessibility issues:

• Desktop browsers: Chrome and Firefox on PC.
• Assistive Technologies for Manual Testing: JAWS and NVDA
• Automated Testing Tools: Various tools and plugins, such as Siteimprove Accessibility Checker, Paul J Adam Bookmarklets for Accessibility Testing, and the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool.
• Phone: iPhone and Android (web)
